Mederma Silicone Scar Sheet provides a semi-occlusive layer on top of the skin. Breathable Silicone technology results in increased hydration of the skin. This increased hydration ensures that the damaged, scarred skin recovers more quickly and that problems caused by the scar are reduced.
Usage
Persistent functional complaints caused by the scar (persistent redness, "pulling" sensations, itching, restriction of joint movement, discomfort and cosmetic concerns).

To apply: Wash and dry the scar area before applying the adhesive side on the scar.
For best results: Use Silicone Scar Sheet for at least 12 hours a day (up to 23 hours maximum).
Silicone technology has been shown to soften the scar in 3-5 days.
In rare cases, the skin may have a hypersensitive reaction (skin irritation) to silicone sheet. In such cases, stop using until the skin is no longer irritated.
If skin problems persist, consult your healthcare professional.
