Citrus bioflavonoids are a unique set of phytochemicals—meaning, they're compounds produced by plants. These are the compounds that the plant has developed to protect itself from oxidation. I give 4 star, 1 star less because of the tablets, I prefer capsules. The tablets are very big and you need to drink enough water. Good price/quality. I also use other bioflavonoids like quercetine, diosmin.

As always, Solgar products are very good. This Hy-Bio formula is quite good but do be aware the capsule size is quite large. I wish Solgar could make this exact formulation in a smaller, easier to swallow capsule.
