Among the three Frech roasted whole bean from iHerb, this one is the true French roasted bean. However, the roasting seems to be different from batch to batch. Sometimes it comes with lighter beans, like full city plus roasted. It tastes a bit bland, but I still like it. Mt. I use this coffee daily because it’s organic and tastes great. High quality coffee at a great price, I’ve switched to the larger size package of beans because it’s a great deal and lasts much longer than the small bag of grounds. The number of servings in this bag makes it worth the price!

For those that like your coffee fresh and grind your own beans, you get a good nice French Roast for that full bodied taste and nice acidity. Each batch may differ slightly but it is overall a good coffee plus it is organic too. A rarity in coffee these days. A large bag such as this should last for some time! Recommended!

Quite a dark roast, makes very nice, fully flavoured coffee. Beans look and smell good quality. We have made coffee with the pour over method and a Moka pot, and it works well for both of those. I would say it's less suited to make as a cold brew.

My first time purchasing this coffee. Pleasantly surprised how easy it was to grind the beans. A nice deep roasted flavor. We blended this coffee with Ethiopian Yirgacheffe beans -- perfect.

Fabulous pure-tasting fair trade organic coffee available here in a larger than usual size. Doesn’t save money to buy in bulk, so far as I can tell, but the larger amount of coffee is convenient. Larger bags are also easier to reuse.

The smell of these organic coffee beans is pleasant and nutty. The taste is medium strong and slightly bitter sweet. I like it for my dark coffee. I ran out of it and will purchase it again

I love dark roast coffee beans. This has the it. Blending with my herbs, it was so good. All the friends I served, will ask for my coffee whenever they visit me.

I love their beans.It is slightly bitter than breakfast beans like the names show. if you want hardcore taste of coffee than this is what you want. BTW it's quite a good quality.
