This is a good amount of melatonin. You don't need a higher dosage to help you sleep or change your sleeping schedule. my wife used it successfuly to adjust her messed up sleeping though it can leave you quite groggy in the morning depending on how long you sleep and how early you need to wake up. sometimes you wake up with low energy but the benefit of fixing sleep outweighs that.

At first I thought it was my imagination that this brand did not work as well as Zarbees kids tablets but every single time I take same dose as Zarbees (2mg) I'm left tossing and turning for hours. It is just not effective and not potent! I used to take 3mg from Pure Encapsulations and that dose gave me solid 8 hrs straight but also made me tired and groggy following day. Tonight will be the last time I'm taking Kal because it's going to the trash in the morning. Waste of money, time, effort, and precious sleep hours.
