NOW Foods melatonin 5mg is a terrific product and very good value. I also purchased 10mg by a different brand. I take it because i have difficulties in falling asleep at night. ive used Valerian root before because i learned that valerian Acid triggers a special kind of deep sleep - Slow-Wave Deep Sleep but it doesn't always work for me , or maybe my systems has gotten used to it. so for the last couple of weeks, i have been taking melatonin. it works most nights because my mind just doesn't stop at night. I can say that the quality of the sleep is much better!! great ingredients and very efficient. packaging is convenient - the pill size is also very convenient to swallow. no funny taste I totally recommend
