It doesn't taste like cheese if that's what you're looking for. It's hard to explain. it's got a tang and tomato taste and I really enjoy it. I set the bowl I didn't finish on the ground and caught my cat licking it. lol. so, the pets approve too

Plant based alternative to cheese dips, it is pretty mild (even if the ingredients contain jalapeno peppers), and tends to get more and more liquid the more you use it. It goes well with vegetables, but it does feel slightly acidic (maybe because of the vinegar), and definitely more watery than I expected. It doesn't really taste like cheese, but it does add a mild and not too salty punch to food. If I were to only consider the taste, I would give it 3 stars, but since it's vegan friendly and we don't have that many cheesy options here in Japan, I'm giving it 4 stars.
