This is good for my partner as it can be conveniently swallowed with his other supplements at dinner time, and doesn't make him sleepy at that time. He takes it for its health benefits, especially its excellent ability to raise the master antioxidant glutathione. He doesn't need it to help him sleep as he's an excellent sleeper. I on the other hand, take chewable melatonin in 3 split doses over an hour before bed. This 20 mg is a good dose for a 60 plus person, as melatonin diminishes noticeably from age 40. Lower doses are fine for younger people.
